Broxden Business Park on the outskirts of Perth is currently being expanded, many well known large businesses are already committed to locate there and it is also the site of the new Park and Ride service.

When Perth & Kinross Council realised they needed a new and impressive sign for this they approached Robert Parker. The term Broxden means Badger Den and the client was keen to incorporate the Badger into the sign in some way. It was also essential that the sign was as vandal proof as possible and visually stunning.

In partnership with the client we came up with the idea of a Badger face being incorporated into the structure of the sign, after a few design tweaks we finally agreed on the artwork and the location of the sign.

The sign was constructed using powder-coated metal with brushed stainless 3-dimensional lettering and concreted in location 3 meters above ground level.

Robert Parker have recently invested in a digital printing press. This A3 size press makes short run colour printing much more economical. It is ideal for business cards, leaflets and flyers.

It is not full colour lithographic printing and is designed to complement this service, not to replace it. Artwork can be supplied fully completed on disc or for a small fee we will create artwork for you.

New Press comes online

Our new 4 colour Komori Press has come on stream, installation is complete and staff training has taken place. This investment will effectively quadruple our production capacity and will allow us to provide an even better quality of print and level of service to our clients.

It is expected that the new press will eventually lead to 2 new jobs in the company. Managing Director, Graham McWilliam said “I am delighted that our new press is up and running, this is a significant investment for our business. My next aim is to run the press on double shift”

One of the first jobs to be completed on the new press is our company brochure – Looking for a solution, copies of which can be obtained by clicking here.
